There are open-source tools available for ISP of AVR parts, which use an SPI interface. This appears to be identical to the programming interface for the AT89S53 and similar. This software could be ported to DOS, if it hasn't been already.
The Winbond part looks to use its uart for programming. They have DOS source code for programming on their web site. Dennis |
