Hi

I am trying to connect LCD module (16X2 )with PC Printer port. But LCD is not at all displaying any thing. What was the wrong. I have tested two such LCDs. both are having same problem. Is there any possiblity of damage to LCD due to poor soldering ? Please help.

I connected R/W to ground directly because i am not going to read any thing from LCD and connected Vo (contrast pin no 3 ) to voltage divider using 22k and 2k2. (22k connceted to +5V)
