I hope that iam not asking the incorrect question. Actually iam facing this problem and i have emailed the manufacturer of the promo but did not get any replies.

Iam using the following arrangement to work in assembly.

files:-

i make file in dos editor and save it as c:> file.a51

then run the assembler which is c:>asm51 file.a51

then i make the object file using OH file.obj

then i download it to the controller using Promo

now this promo has files like prog ini.

this promo is from danni@specs.de

every thing was working in proper but now iam having problem that when my Com1 port don't detect this promo. I have tried every thing but its not working.

I have used the same promo on my friend's computer its working great but on my PC ( which is Intel(r) Celeron, 300Mhz, windows98 ) its not detecting the promo.

I connect this promo on the same Com1 port where i connect my Mouse the Mouse is working but the promo is not detected. Also iam working Dos Environment then also it is not detecting.

Any clue or any thing which can solve this problem.
