Now i have tried every thing....may be iam making some mistake but still ...like i have installed the ini file more many times...formatting my drive and the reinstalling windows98 but still its not working..

like its not detecting the promo the cable is working , the same promo is working on other computers but why not working on my PC..

Is there in config kind of thing that is required to do..

I have tried writing in dos mode:

C:>mode com1:9600,N,8,1

but still no use :(

under the promo screen its is written

57600 baud

is it something to do with this..

the problem is this promo was working well and in proper order the my Pc with the same settings as they are now...and suddenly it starts not to work...
