thats why i dislike 'c' for EC. if i have to learn the hardware from the scratch and programming is higly dependant on what is connected where , 'C' fails in its purpose to bridge the gap there due to hardware dependence. once you develop certain routines in assembly language its as good as 'c' because there is not much hardware to program like there in PC. while when programming for IBM PC/clones im a big lover of 'c'.
