------------------------------- Hi 'e's, Iam working on a interface b/w 8051 microcontroller and HP laser printer. Anyone have any suggestions on this.... What's your problem? Connecting a printer to a 8051 shouldn't cause major problems. You could use one port for the data pins and another port for the status and control signals. It may be a good idea to use buffers (like '541s) to protect the 8051 port pins. If you use an external memory interface you could use 574 latches for data and control pins and a 541 for the status pins. If you have a specific problem ask a specific question.
