I am trying to interface the micro controller at89c51 to my dot matrix printer. Please let me know the easiest and the cheapes way of doing it. I found some serial to parallel chips on the net but they are too expensive and difficult to procure. If some direct interface is possible please let me know. If some easily available chip is necessary, then also it is accepatable.
