Yes, 8051 could have been a pure Harvard stuff, but for the PSEN pin which lends itself for some clever manipulations to arrange the code and data memory in contiguous blocks - if you so need it. To me the 8051 is a kind of Harvard-Newmann rolled-in-one architecture. Raghu |
