#48928 - RE: Switch contact reliability (off topic) Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I used them to replace relays on our UT Formula SAE racecar for several reasons, safety being one of them. It is not uncommon for fuel leaks to occur while the car is running (or sitting in the lab). The last thing I need is to spot a fuel leak and ignite the vapors by shutting off the power!
The solid state relay box is a tremendous space savings over the old relay and fuse box. It reduces much of the unsightly wiring too. It also has cool LEDs. I like LEDs. Every design simply must have them... - Lee |
