hi rob,
as far as fuel vapour is concern an electronic system will not create that much energy to flash it, yeah over the flash point some SPARK can do that. for example when compressed inside the engine gasoline vapour attains temp abot 1500 degrees and still needs a spark to blow. In deisel engines the vapor atains 1800 degrees and then ,its heavy hydrocarbon molecules burn. so, for Mr. Cross, potting does the job. abhishek |
