I have had what purported to be extreme programmers telling me that what they are doing is the new wave in development at some conference I was attending and it just seems that there is this invisable boundry which most programmers will not cross where they live in a little world of thier own and most dont seem to know the first thing about the platform which they are coding for,I have known situations where they dont even know if the machine that will be running thier code is a 16 or 32 bit system or even what the system looks like in terms of a block diagram of interconnected bits,so in general I dont have much time for overpaid and under educated programming 'gurus' and thier latest buzz words.
