Hello Guys,

Man, this is the best forum of any subject I've ever been in. Others, I barely get any replies or comments. Anyways, I'm using the MSC1210Y5. It has a Boot ROM which you can use to download code to flash. Here are the details:

- downloading intel hex file (packed, ~800 lines thus the ~12K bytes)
- developing using a Mac G4, created my own download utility. During download, I wait for proper reply per line before I send the next line (this is how the boot ROM works)
- running the MCU with 11.0592Mhz XTAL with baud rate of 57600, configured timer registers accordingly, no serial flow control, N81
- what I was expecting was less than a minute but right now it's about 3 minutes

Any more comments would be greatly helpful to shake my brain and figure out what's going on. Thanks.
