Actually, I'm not implementing anything like that. The thing is the Boot ROM receives a line from your hex file at a time then my downloader just waits for the appropriate response before sending the next line (replies with "." = successfully wrote to flash, "X" = errors etc). I think I'm sure my downloader is not the culprit because if I just send the whole file straight, it's done in seconds but not all is going to be written to flash. I'm thinking of tweaking the register values, though right now I'm using TI's formula, I'll just have to start reducing these values until it short enough but the code still gets written to flash.
