#53166 - RE: Color Graphic LCD modules Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Leo,
I have been going through some data sheets thanks to the links given by you people. Basically looks like there are two basic types of colour LCD modules: 1. Passive type with RGB dots arranged as an array - I don't suppose that is suitable for Video. 2. The other type is active type with TFT array and comes with a choice of inputs - VGA / PAL / NTSC. Considering my application of just updating the map image at regular intervals and budget constraints, I think I will have to settle for the first type. Is my understanding correct ? Thanks Raghu |
