Hi Cory,
thank you for your reply. Maybe, the SX18 or 16C54 are not laudable members of the PIC familiy. I looked only on it because its impressive 50MIPS. But I stopped this not only because the awkward programming. The main reason was the extremely expensive entry point (SX-key for 800.00DM !). I think, only to sniff on a new micro a 99.00$ limit must be enough. The 2. reason, I found no way to avoid loosing interrupts ! And every micro, which can loose interrupts is forbidden for me.
