I sometimes read questions dating back for some time.
It is interesting reading.

Maybe nobody had a good answer other than to say
"Go to some other group", or "this is not a 51 type question" etc, etc, etc...

Sometimes I can help and post a reply, even though it is old. I have gotten messages from questions dating back over a year, which I can hardly remember.

I suppose it was you that abruptly terminated my thread, deaming it not a valid 51 question.

So, I guess the choice is all up to you.
Balance how much effort is worth keeping the threads active.
