#54823 - RE: What binary string? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi guys,
Sorry in delay to talk you again I would clarify why I used the Therm "Bitstream" Since the sensor Iam using to read the barcodes is static one, and the bars are readed by passing it in front of the sensor, the output pin varyes according to the barcodes, producing an "pulse train" exactaly as the serial port, so can be called a bit-stream. It is different of what occurs on a CCD scanner, in wich the process is interely static (of viewpoint of moving the sensor or bars). As recommended for various persons, the faster solution is to use an external dedicated device to decode the bars(as cue-cat i.e.). Iam still researching this topic, and when I find something concrete I will share. Thank you all for your sugestions ! |
