Hi Steve,

PID is simple but it is not clear from his posting that what outputs he is going to control may be he has to operate 3 Analog outputs ,Humidifier , Heater , Compressor ? if you try control all the three parameters sensing your process temp and the ambient tempreature then PID control will be scary for me I will love to use FuzzyLogic for that .
PID will suite you if you have only one variable to control that is only the compressor .
