I will make a control room that is far enough from the turbine engine in case it got out of control and took off the floor!
hook up the controls and bring the speed up using the external fuel shut off untill you confirm that the throttle will control the turbine.
The problem with this turbine is that you need to start it at 20,000 rpm using compressed air then apply fuel for it to sustain self excitation. I have to keep experimenting with throttle manually and measure no load speed before I apply any closed loop control with my cygnal board.The actual turbine has no load what so ever on it and actually when you spin it by your fingers it spins for few turns. It is a quite small turbine. I have to control it at no load conditions at first then apply some load to it some how.
what is the approximate design output of this turbine? 60KW
