#57712 - RE: Which c compiler? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I wanted to ask the same question: Which C compiler? I 've done a search in the forum and in the web. I 've understood that most of you use Keil. The problem is that I can virtually afford the money to buy the full version of Keil's compiler. So the only solution seems SDCC and Reads51. Which one of these two do you consider better, taking into account their capability of producing the smallest and fastest code? Can you compare them to the commercial products such as Keil, Raisonance, etc? Are there any other free 8051 C compilers, apart from SDCC and Reads51? I 've googled the web, but didn't find anything else... Also what about Tasking (http://www.tasking.com)? Lot of questions ;) Thanx in advance.
