#57723 - RE: Which c compiler? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I've tried the Keil compiler and it is very good but a little expensive for a hobbyist.I've been using the Raisonance compiler for the last month or so and it's
also very good.Raisonance have a sale on until the end of December with 25% off the usual price. The "lite" package can be used up to 32K of code and is priced at 390 euros whatever that is in USD? Over the last year I've used the Pinnacle 52 assembler package and if you're new to 8052 it is really a great way to start especially for it's price. I'll agree with the experts on this forum that it is better to start with assembly as it gets you a much better understanding of the hardware. As for the experts on this forum I would like to thank you all for your continued input ,I have learned much from you all.My favorite posters here are Michael Karas , Kai Klaas and for his witty comments Jez Smith - no blushing guys. |
