#58556 - Bug in keil C51 ? |
Hi people,
Someone has used a source I've published in my website and told me there was an error in my code. I've wrote the following code : while (LCD_DATA & 0x80 == BUSY); There's of course missing two brackets. The code should be : while ((LCD_DATA & 0x80) == BUSY); The problem is that for the first line, the compiler doesn't compile the line and leave it blank in the LST file and there is no warning or error message during the compiling.... From my side the problem is not the compiler didn't compiled the line but that the compiler doesn't tell me the line isn't compiled !!! I'm using C51 V5.50. I suppose this is a bug. If anyone has an explanation it will be welcome. Otherwise, for the ones who are using this compiler, be careful... Regards Stephane |
