There is a fuel pump that pumps fuel at 400 psi, what i was thinking is putting a needle valve after this pump and control the pressure of fuel which is linear with the fuel flow or quantity pumped into comustion chamber. This is the turbine that your friend is building as a reasearch project isn't it? If so he should design and build the fuel control system leaving you with a lever to control. He actually built the turbine and borrowed the combustion chamber from somewhere else, he is a mechanical guy and left the speed and fuel control as an excercise for me because it is too easy for him to do! keep us posted I will but if I didn't show up again you know what had happened :) Just kidding! mahmood |
