Still how the system would work if it ever will is a unknown, I need to vary the flow rate manually to see how things work with no load, then load it and do measurements, we have no idea about the fuel requirements or consumption so we need to measure it experimentally, thats why I want to start from very low psi close to zero.
After that I will try the closed loop control as mentioned in the previous thread.
Since it is a new design we don't know yet weather the gas turbine engine would sustain combustion or not, would it go wild and accelerate madly (hope not).
So I will do alot of safety interlocks, one of them is measuring the rpm of the gas turbine and shut off the fuel if it exceeds certain rpm.
It sounds like fun project, but really there is no beef from it !
