The datasheet of the audio ADC recommends "synchronizing the serial audio interface to the MCLK". Also, I want to ensure that I get "all" of the audio samples, so I think synchronizing the sampling frequency FCLK (and consequently BCLK=FCLK*32) to the MCLK *is* important.
By the way, I realize some of the problem here is that I did not specify which chip I'm referring to. It's a Xemics XE3005. Regards. Drew Rainwater |
