#5993 - RE: APP Builder ? |
Hi Oliver,
thank you for your explanation. > in graphical ... This sounds an additional step (graphical description) between my brain and the code and so an additional source of posibility of errors. Also I believe, this work only on the simple standard 8052 SFRs. More complex functions (e.g. CAN on the C505, I2C on the 80C652) seems not realistic to be verbose described in a graphical manner. > mouse-clicking advantage Its not an advantage for me, since typing a character is always faster, as searching a defined position on the screen and clicking. > stack overflow check If this really can be done, this was worth the Nobel prize. The only solution, that I found: Initialize the whole stack with a known pattern and make a RAM dump after a long time of real time execution. On my C51 programs I try to have 8 ... 16 bytes untouched. > switching around different x51 Seems I must then also switch between different APP Builders ? E.g. I use now: AT89S8252, DS80C320, C505, 80C652, 87C751 I believe not, that all niceties, included in a few hundred pages of the data book, can be placed on the screen. Peter |
