#60273 - RE: 89C51RC and Keil
Responding to: ???'s previous message
since I overgrew my old 89s53 I want to switch to 89C51RC. I have a question about accessing extra 256 bytes of RAM. Is this PDATA?
or XDATA some derivatives use P2 in that case, some do not.
Do I declare variables to PDATA.
you can
Where is then stack starting? On 256 or 512? I think it starts on 256 (IDATA),
the stack grows upward and is in DATA or IDATA
I know I must setup some bits first to access to this segment.
again derivative dependent

Erik

Michael,
The RC has 256 bytes of ERAM in addition to the 256 bytes of RAM
