#60288 - RE: Add. info
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Sorry for not giving whole name. It is Atmel AT89C51RC. I use Atmel's since they are easy to get and quite cheap in Slovenia.
In lastest application I had a problems, I think stack overwrites variables in ram (is this possible?) so I was thinking to switch to AT89C51RC, which has additional ram and code memory. I know compiler uses MOVX instructions, so I would place in PDATA less used variables.

I use old Keil V3.07. Does anyone know where to look for buying used (licence), not latest version of Keil. Latest version is for me still too expensive and 2k limitation - can not do much in 2k. I am considering to switch to Bascom (it is not professional, but I think it will work for me - and it costs about 80$).
What do you think - rather stick to Keil V3.07 or switch to Bascom?

regards, Damjan
