#61513 - RE: What is the future of 8051? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Arif,
I wouldn't worry to much about the demise of the 8051 IC because PLC's are going to replace it. You have to understand PLC's have been made so that unskilled people can use them. They are cheap and can pack a big punch in an industrial setting. In other industries PLC's won't provide the solution because it requires someone with more skill to solve the problems. Your biggest problem will be selling yourself. Never under estimate your value. If you can't get people to pay you for your skills then get them to pay you for your products. Either way you enjoy a good living from your talents. My two cents. Regards, Charles Bannister |
