If one wants to write a term such as µVision2 or µC into a forum post all that is necessary is to write the following into the post where you want the special character to appear.

     µ

I bring this up because I have noticed some recent posts where uC and microVision have been used.

If the µ character is used in the proper context it can lead to a much clearer presentation. For example if one is talking about the capacitor to bypass a JC89C52 it may have a value of 0.1 µF.
