But filtering as you call it is applicabole in some instances. A dice game is not one!! At a shooting range with movable targets it may be a good idea for two reasons. 1) It keeps the shooter moving for every shot and 2) It allow a cycle time to reset the last target that is longer than the target repeat rate you can achieve.
