Is your interrupt routine really so long in duration that a second serial byte has arrived before returning? Are you running with a low frequency Xtal? Or is the latency of your response to the 1st byte's serial interrupt equal to the long period of time it takes to frame a serial byte? (38.4kbps = ~260 µ seconds). regards, p |
