#63269 - RE: reliability vs cost Responding to: ???'s previous message |
...probably because the thread is long enough to be closed, yeah? At least it says nothing about C51.
It says nothing about C51? IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT C51?? Sorry, Oleg, but I totally disagree! I'm a professional and most of my time I spend to keep the 'reliability' of my work, my products and my designs high. Do you think that I waste my time? Ok, if you want to talk about pure 'C51 issues, then we can talk about: 'How many decoupling capacitors do I need, when I use a bread board?' 'If I use FAST-TTL, can I work with a bread board?' 'Ok, when I avoid FAST-TTL can I then use a bread board?' 'Mmh, since a week I use a fast cygnal controller, but now I have problems with my bread board design. Can you help me?' 'My microcontroller has problems with accessing external RAM. Can it be that it comes because I use a bread board?' 'I have problems, it seems that my microcontroller containing FLASH ROM looses its code. I use bread board mounting. Can you help me?' I could expand this list by several hundred more entrys. And each entry has something to do with 'reliability'. Has to do with the arrogance NOT to read according datasheets and application notes, NOT to follow the recommendations and instructions given there, NOT to make the try to improve 'reliability' of product, 'reliability' of design and 'reliability' of individual work! If there is anything that has to do with 'C51 then it's a discussion about 'reliability'. CE standards have something to do with 'reliability'. If you use an ESD hand clamp it has to do with 'reliability'. If you get your chip shipped in an ESD bag it has to do with 'reliability'. If you check your hardware with a scope it has to do with 'reliability'. If you study and become engineer it has to with 'reliability'. If you test your program it has to do with 'reliability'. If you read in a book to solve a problem it has to do with 'reliability'. If you make simulations with computer it has to do with 'reliability'. If you check whether code was programmed correctly it has to do with 'reliability'. If you contact your application engineer for clearing a problem with your micro it has to do with 'reliability'. If you make a post, because you have a problem it has to do with 'reliability'. If you reply to a post and check your recommendation by having a look into a text book it has to do with 'reliability'. So, please don't tell me that 'reliability' has nothing to do with 'C51... Kai |
