Erasure of EPROMs usually leaves FF not 00 ? Is this not the same for the windowed CPUs ? Yes, erasure leaves FFH's for all EPROMs except the ancient 1702, which reads all zeros after erasing. PS Use the P89C52RX2 instead. Fewer bugs. Thanks for the tip, though I thought the "89C" series had been superceded by the newer "89S" series?? |
