Guy, my curiosity has gotten the best of me on this subject. If you're located in the U.S, I'd be glad to mail you a couple of these parts (AMD D8751H windowed-EPROMs in static-safe packaging) free of charge. Just check them out on your system and let me know if they work with your setup. The parts were pulled from working boards, and have only been erased 3-4 times, AFAIK.
