A linker links!! Make a multiple source file project, some files in C get compiled into object code files, some files in ASM get assembled into object code files.
The LINKER is used to hook all the objects together into one run time image. This image is often an Intel HEX file but may also be binary or some other CODE memory image. Michael Karas |
