#64178 - RE: Weekend OT: why DC Responding to: ???'s previous message |
If one used AC, all problems re offset, drift and such would be eliminated. Only to replace them with the effects of stray capacitance and inductance. These are much more difficult to get rid of or compensate for. Plus, a bridge amplifier needs (very) high CMRR, which is much easier to achieve at DC. Go to the LTC website (www.linear.com) and download their application note 43. That's 48 pages dedicated to this subject. Rob. |
