#64743 - RE: ISP cable AT89C51RD2 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi,
Not that I'm a stickler for remaining on-topic or anything, but regarding ISP (In System Programming) the AT89C51Rx2, I think it can be accomplished via the SPI (Serial Programming Interface), but I prefer using the UART (Universal Asynchronous [sic?] Receiver Transmitter). If you have specific questions regarding implementation, many on this forum will gladly offer advise and/or answers. Regarding the denotation "sic", it is in fact latin for "thus," but in this context it is a standard editor's note which also means "Spelling InCorrect (Note the irony of using a TLA [Three Letter Acronym] to incorrectly denote this particular two word phrase)." It is used in brackets or parentheses to indicate that the author is aware that a quoted word is spelled incorrectly, or amended by a question mark to indicate that the author is uncertain of how to correctly spell a word and is too lazy, in this era of spell checkers, to look it up (see above). |
