Of course you already understand that this is absolutely no indication whatsoever that the code will actually work, don't you...

Many, many moons ago a poroduction guy decided he could do my job and read up on how to program the PDP-8 in a DEC "basic" called (i think) "symbol". He finally got to where his code compiled and at the end said "no errors". He then came to me and stated "the symbol thing is defective, it says no errors and my program does not work".
