I re-read all the responses here again and find little that is "patronizing" as you put it.

It is clear that you are a complete neophyte just getting started in trying to do something with a microcontroller. It is time you to stop acting like you are the customer here. Get yourself some decent books on embedded development and go off and read them. Then when you come back here bring a different attitude with you!!
