#65030 - RE: Keil compiler Responding to: ???'s previous message |
obviously i do understand that compiling properly does not mean that it will work. I thought this site was to try help people with problems and not for people to patronize and try and make themselves sound intelligent. It quiet frustrating and seems to be quiet a frequent trend in peoples responses on this site.
anyway to ask another stupid question, **** have you put a scope (or similar) on the lines & verified that they're doing the right thing? **** what kind of scope do you mean. the clock is a slave so i presume you mean to check that the 8051 is sending out the right info? pointers on how to do this would be appreciated. also does anybody know a way to check that the RTC is actually ticking? |
