We had this discussion about RS232 a while back: it's not the cable length that matters per se; it's the capacitance - so you can have a long low-capacitance cable, or a short high-capacitance one - the result is the same! The datasheet will just specify capacitance. And don't forget to terminate it properly! Both Maxim & Linear (LTC) do video line drivers. You know where to find them... ;-) |
