Large motors, not properly earthed... this explains a few things.
If you can arrange to have the monitors earthed and powered from the computer source, this could help a lot. (It also might not, depending on the compromises you have to make to meet code.) I know it's not hard to run long signal cables legally, but not so easy for power. In the US, TranZorbs are less than a dollar; good luck in Jordan! Another thing that would help a lot is a common mode choke. Problem is, you need to pass almost 100 MHz analog video, without distortion, while canceling enormous spikes. If you can get a big piece of ferrite (such as from a switching regulator's transformer), wind as many turns of the VGA line through as will fit. |
