Nice to learn **more** about your project.

" The valves needs a pulse of 110V A.C. for atleast 16ms for actuation. "

Well such specifications need a little bit more analysis :

It only says the pulse must "atleast be 16ms wide" for an effective switch ON of the valve. Thus if your valve is going to remain "switched ON" for more than this duration in a typical cycle, then why worry about such a short pulse ? The only priority in such an event would be to switch off the supply just before the next cycle of switch ON. Such valves are normally called "detent types" which only need a short pulse to shift the spool and then held there by a mechanical detent. ( As opposed to the "spring offset types " which hold the spool in a shifted position only as long as the solenoid is ON.)

And why 110 V ac ? To the best of my knowledge, Festo offers 12 or 24 V dc as a standard option for all its valves - would'nt that be simpler ? Maybe you had to use the ac version for a faster switching performance.
In such an event, the SSR is the best route to take and Ramesh has already given you a local supplier. Just take care to select a model that offers zero-crossing switching characteristics. Welding M/c + SSR + 110 V ac + MCU is not a very comfortable thought ! Good luck .

( And incidentally which shop in Godrej is your equipment going to be ?)
