Good first step. However what are you trying to protect?

First off when I looked at the PDFs you offered I clicked on the link and it opens a teeny little browser window with my IE 6 that cannot be re-sized. It makes it really hard to access the information and look at it conveniently. Instead of having the PDF links:

...why don't you simply put in the straightforward links as listed below. These will simply launch the PDFs into a browser PDF viewer if the user has one installed or initiate a document download.

A second issue that I have to comment on is why not include the schematic in the available download information. If the above mentioned PDF files are representative of what constitutes a set of Users Manuals for these boards then the schematic would at least allow your potential purchaser to evaluate what she/he really gets when they would buy the board. If other users manuals are available then they should also be available to registered users.
