Have a look at UltraEdit. Column mode (with nice number insert feature), wildcard replace, compare files, hex edit, tool integration (one keystroke assembles my source and takes me to the list file), fully customizable syntax highlighting (can hold 20 language descriptions and automatically switches to the right one according to the file extension), function browser, macro's, several shades of capitalize, multiple windows onto the same file, line numbers, match brace ({}) and most of the features you mention are certainly in it, some I'm not completely sure, but it's huge, so I would be surprised if they weren't.
Column mode is extremely useful. Once you have it, you wonder how you ever got along without. UltraEdit allows you to display a different font in column mode. I have bold for column mode, so there is never any doubt which mode I'm in. Trial version free, 30 bucks for a licence. There's also a large amount of syntax highlight files on the UltraEdit site for free download. Sadly, I have no experience with CodeWright. www.ultraedit.com |
