Why not just replace the op-amp with a comparator?
well, same thing would result... although a comparator would be used, the device still has a "lag factor" that may not be suitable for edge triggering 8051. Baloney, look at the risetime for a modern comparator in a properly designed circuit. Comparators are specifically designed to give sharp edges as a result of analog input. Erik |
