Good point of view. I quite agree with you. The poster just tried to find solution, which meet his requirements. But again, if someone has written the program for a slave USB on an AVR, then someone else can write the program for the host USB on a fast '8051, why not. Perhaps it will be good solution for many hobbyists and developers. I formed the impression that perhaps I have to change my surname to Hammer.
