Do you still breadboard or go by the datasheets and design in directly and have the PCB made?
With todays faster devices due to the fast risetimes breadboarding will give you problems that you do not need. A pair of protos can be had for less than $500 (finished boards) and are worth it 10 times over (hope my supplier does not see this :-)

I usually get it right the first or second time and since 50% of the problems seen with the protos are due to layout why bother with anything but PCBs
