Thanks for the lead...I understand that several top IT companies including Infosys, Wipro etc pick up students from this institute.I have not visited the campus as yet.I'll let you know the details in a day or two.

What I was looking for was institutes who have a tie- up with Embedded companies, wherein the probability for a placement is more job specific.

There are quite a few small time institutes who offer training on the 8051 architecture etc.But there is no assurance on the job front.
